tuomi kit for the blind

In the Stadtmuseum Trier

People who are cisually impaired or blind can visit the Simeonstift Trier City Museum without the need for special assistance.

To make this possible, the Trier University of Applied Sciences has integrated elements such as sound collages, tactile models and relief plans into the exhibition. tuomi has created a corresponding audio guide and added it to the existing guide while the museum was in full operation. Matthias Rösch, State Representative for the concerns of disabled people in Rhineland-Palatinate is enthusiastic: "In my opinion, this highly innovative barrier-free museum design is unique in Germany."
