Gottorf Castle and Maritime Museum Finland

The special exhibition “Of Swords, Sails and Cannons” was a cross-border highlight. It was first presented at Gottorf Castle, Landesmuseum Schleswig-Holstein, and then at the Maritime Museum Finland.
At both locations, Dorengo enabled visitors to immerse themselves in maritime history. With 180 NFC stations, the digital guide offered an interactive and informative experience. The simple handling - holding the tablet to an NFC chip - allowed guests to intuitively discover additional content and thus better understand the exhibits in their historical context. Dorengo’s flexible, multi-site application demonstrates how digital solutions can enrich exhibitions and be customised for different institutions. This NFC solution was made available to visitors as a native app on loan devices.
